In a long and entertaining match, which featured 11 minutes of second-half stoppage time, six goals, and a red card, Sandvikens secured an important 4–2 home victory to move further clear of the relegation zone. Sandvikens’ attacking quality proved decisive, while Helsingborgs’ defensive frailties and lack of emotional composure ultimately contributed to the outcome.
In possession, Sandvikens transformed their 1-3-4-3 by advancing the goalkeeper into the build-up, forming a line of four in the first phase. They displayed confidence on the ball, using short passes to control possession and build attacks patiently from the back (see video below).
In their positional attacks, Sandvikens frequently used right wing-back Linus Tagesson as the primary outlet. Tagesson consistently delivered accurate passes and crosses into the penalty area, a pattern that was evident in the opening goal. In the 12th minute, his precise delivery found right winger Alan Carleton, whose missed finish allowed left winger Johan Arvidsson to convert and give Sandvikens the lead (see video below).
Their second goal, scored at the end of the first half, again originated from Linus Tagesson, whose precise assist found striker Christian Wagner. Wagner took a touch to control the ball before finishing into the far bottom corner with his second touch to restore Sandvikens’ lead.
Helsingborgs IF, under Scottish manager Stevie Grieve, operated in a 1-4-2-3-1 formation. They were particularly dangerous in transition, with their counterattacking play creating several scoring opportunities, including their opening goal in the 31st minute (see video below).
The match took a favourable turn for Sandvikens in the 50th minute when Ervin Gigović, in his attempt to score, made contact with the opposition goalkeeper’s head rather than the ball.
This allowed the home side to extend their lead with two further goals, scored by Johan Arvidsson in the 61st minute and substitute Böhm in stoppage time (90+5′). Helsingborgs’ efforts were rewarded with a goal from substitute Johansson in the 63rd minute, but it proved only a consolation.

Christian Wagner (Sandvikens), striker born 2003.
Christian is a target striker with strong aerial ability. He held the ball up well and brought his teammates into play with accurate passes using his feet, chest, and head. He scored the decisive second goal with a precise finish from just inside the penalty area.
Fabian Andersson (Sandvikens), central midfielder born 2006.
Fabian is a tall defensive midfielder with strong defensive and playmaking qualities. He cleared a dangerous cross from the penalty area with a well-timed header. He also closed down opponents inside the box to clear the danger and made several decisive blocks. Strong in tackles and physical duels, he regained possession consistently. In possession, he linked play with good awareness, played accurate forward passes, and switched play effectively with precise long balls. He also won the ball with a strong tackle before launching the counterattack for the third goal with an accurate outside-of-the-foot pass.

Alvin Nordin (Helsingborgs IF), right winger born 2007.
Alvin is an inverted winger with excellent technical ability. His sharp changes of direction enabled him to beat opponents consistently. He received the ball well between the lines and disguised his intentions before passing. Under pressure, he showed outstanding awareness and composure, highlighted by a clever backheel assist that released his teammate into space. He also demonstrated excellent vision, spotting and executing through passes that others might not have seen.
Alvin would be a strong fit for a top-six Superliga team such as FCN, with the potential to make a further move to a mid-table Serie A club within 3–4 years.
