Paide Linnameeskond produced a dominant performance in the second leg of their UEFA Conference League qualifier against FC Hegelmann, securing a convincing 3–0 victory and progressing to the next round with a 4–1 aggregate score.
The Estonian side started the match with high intensity and quickly took control of proceedings. Their aggressive approach, strong pressing, and effective attacking transitions caused problems for FC Hegelmann throughout the game.
Paide opened the scoring in the 17th minute when Pa Modou Sohna finished clinically after receiving a well-timed pass from Daniel Luts. The early goal gave the home side confidence and allowed them to control the rhythm of the match.
The hosts continued to create pressure and were rewarded again just before half-time. In the 42nd minute, Abdourahman Badamosi doubled Paide’s advantage after a good attacking move, with Pa Modou Sohna turning provider this time.

Paide started in a 4-3-3 formation and often built up in a 3+1 structure, with one full-back advancing higher to create width. The midfield showed constant rotations, especially from the ball-side No. 8, creating spaces for the wingers to receive in the half-spaces.

To counter this, FC Hegelmann defended in a compact mid-block, applying maximum pressure as Paide entered the middle third to limit their space and time on the ball.
