AC Horsens looked strongest from set pieces, while AaB posed the greater threat on the counterattack. The first half ended 1–1, but the visitors secured the win in the 80th minute when Victor Fjeldgaard scored his second goal of the match to make it 2–1.
AC Horsens, coached by the Frenchman Frédéric Bodineau, lined up in a 1-4-2-3-1 formation. They took the lead after seven minutes when Ghanaian Arnold Adu-Boahen scored from an attacking corner. The previous corner had also threatened the goal, with Adu-Boahen hitting the post with a header. Both chances came from dangerous inswinging deliveries (see image below).
Aalborg BK, coached by Frederik Jørgensen, lined up in a 1-4-3-3 formation. During the build-up phase, left-back Felix Skovholm inverted into central midfield while midfielder Amar Hadzajlija moved out to the left flank to provide width.
They equalised in the 20th minute through a quick counterattack, with right winger Amar Diagne driving forward at pace before squaring the ball to striker Victor Fjeldgaard, who calmly finished into an open net. Fjeldgaard doubled his tally in the 80th minute with a powerful direct free-kick, securing all three points for the visitors.

Christian Jørgensen (AC Horsens), offensive midfielder born 2008.
Christian demonstrated excellent ball-striking ability, hitting the crossbar with a powerful effort from outside the penalty area. He also forced the goalkeeper into a save with a well-struck volley from the edge of the box. Comfortable retaining possession under pressure, he consistently escaped tight situations through sharp turns and effective 1v1 ability. Off the ball, he attacked the space behind the defence with well-timed runs, providing a constant threat in behind.
Christian would be well suited to a loan move to a lower- or mid-table club in the Superettan or OBOS-ligaen, where he could be challenged at senior level while accumulating valuable first-team minutes. Such a move could accelerate his development before returning to AC Horsens to compete for a place in the first-team squad.
Oscar Mandrup (AC Horsens), striker born 2008.
Oscar is a mobile striker with strong attacking 1v1 ability. He created two good scoring opportunities after beating his direct opponents but was denied by the goalkeeper from a slightly angled position on the first occasion before firing over the bar with his second attempt. He also showed good timing and aerial ability, flicking the ball on with his head effectively.
His movement was intelligent throughout, with well-timed actions to create passing angles when dropping to receive and to attack the space in behind the defence. He linked play well by dropping into deeper areas before releasing teammates with forward passes behind the opposition’s defensive line.
Oscar would be a strong investment for a lower-table club in the Portuguese Primeira Liga or a mid-table Serie B side. With continued development, he has the potential to become a profile suited to a low- to mid-table club in LaLiga.
Anton Mandrup (AC Horsens), left centre-back born 2008.
Anton is a left-footed centre-back with strong playmaking qualities and excellent defensive positioning. He consistently broke opposition lines with accurate progressive passes and showed composure in possession. Defensively, he read the game well, intercepting dangerous forward passes through intelligent positioning while disguising his intentions before stepping in to win the ball.
Anton, who is Oscar’s brother, would be well suited to a Primavera 1 club in Italy, particularly as the left-sided centre-back in a back three. Such an environment would provide an ideal platform for his development before progressing into senior football, with the potential to reach a top Serie B or lower-table Serie A side.
Victor Fjeldgaard (Aalborg BK), striker born 2007.
Victor is a target striker with a strong physical presence. He scored twice in this match, first by finishing a fast counterattack with a simple tap-in into an empty net, before adding a second with a powerful strike from a direct free-kick. He was dominant in aerial duels and showed good ability to control high balls before bringing teammates into play.
One area for improvement is the timing of his movements in behind the defensive line, as he was caught offside on several occasions.
Victor finished the U19 Ligaen season with 19 goals in 26 matches. He would benefit significantly from a season at a mid-table club in the Danish 1st Division or a top-half side in the Superettan, where he could gain valuable senior experience. From there, he has the potential to develop into a striker capable of playing for a mid-table club in the Allsvenskan or Eliteserien.
