Three players previously highlighted in Scoutmania’s match coverage have since secured significant moves abroad: Adam Claridge, Alfred Gøthler and Malik Pimpong.
Their development provides three recent examples of players identified by Scoutmania before taking important steps in their careers.
Adam Claridge: From Brøndby U19 to FC Emmen
Scoutmania highlighted Adam Claridge following an U19 Ligaen match between Sønderjyske and Brøndby IF.
The report identified Claridge as the Brøndby player with the greatest potential in the match. Particular attention was given to his reading of the game, defensive discipline, counter-pressing and ability to compete with an intensity approaching senior football.
The assessment also suggested that regular senior playing time in a faster and more demanding competition would support his continued development.
Claridge subsequently left Brøndby and joined FC Emmen in July 2025, signing a contract until 2028. The move placed him in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football.
His move represented precisely the type of transition highlighted in the original report: progressing from academy football into a competitive senior environment.
Alfred Gøthler: From HB Køge to CD Leganés
Alfred Gøthler caught Scoutmania’s attention during an U19 Division match between HB Køge and Viborg FF.
Despite being born in 2007, Gøthler demonstrated natural flair, sharp movement and unpredictability in attacking situations. The report highlighted his ability to beat opponents, time runs behind the defensive line and create decisive actions in the final third.
Scoutmania concluded that further physical development and improved finishing could allow him to become a top-level first-team player.
Gøthler has since joined CD Leganés, signing a contract running until 2030. The transfer took him from Danish football to Spain’s second tier, LaLiga2.
Moving to a club with experience at the highest levels of Spanish football represents a major opportunity for the young forward to continue developing in an internationally recognised football environment.
Malik Pimpong: From FC Midtjylland to Eintracht Frankfurt
Scoutmania identified Malik Pimpong during an U17 Ligaen match between FC Midtjylland and Lyngby.
The report highlighted his physical dominance, ability to protect the ball, link-up play, speed and effectiveness inside the penalty area. Although still playing at U17 level, Scoutmania assessed that Pimpong was ready to be challenged at a higher level, both technically and physically.
The report specifically recommended regular exposure to U19 football as the appropriate next step in his development.
Pimpong has since completed a move to Eintracht Frankfurt, joining the Bundesliga club in July 2026 on a contract until 2031.
Of the three cases, this represents the most high-profile transfer, taking the Danish attacker to one of Germany’s leading football environments.
Turning Observations into Talent Identification
These moves do not mean that Scoutmania was solely responsible for discovering the players or predicting their future careers. However, they demonstrate the value of structured scouting and the ability to identify relevant qualities before a player completes a major transfer.
