Romanian first tier side FK Csíkszereda Miercurea Ciuc signed Swedish Wilhelm Loeper formerly played for AFC Eskilstuna and Helsingborgs IF, who possesses significant Superettan (Sweden’s second level) experience.
Player Description and Style In General
Wilhelm is a former player of Swedish side AFC Eskilstuna (61 competitive games, 7 goals and 9 assists) and Helsingborgs IF (140 matches, 27 goals and 20 assists), and youth “product” of Djurgårdens IF.
He’s a tall player (approximately 187-189 cm), who has adequate physical attributes and strength. A player on the right flank: right midfielder in formations like 4-4-2 (“Wide midfielder” role), right winger in 4-2-3-1 / 4-3-3 shapes (“Winger” role). Can be described as a fast offensive winger strong in dribbling, and also in the attacking 1v1 situations. Uses his pace to beat his direct opponents, and he is able to cover both phases (ATT / DEF) by his high running capacity and stamina.
Technically gifted, he can shoot (and cross) with his weak foot with power and accuracy; controls the ball with elegance and ease. Prefers to present quick skill moves on the ball when faces the opponents — this technical readiness mixed to his rapidity and dynamism allows him to be more effective in the offensive situations.
Wilhelm demonstrates fairly likeable mentality and attitude; always focuses strongly on winning the games, and he is definitely one who can make difference on the pitch.

Transfer Complications and Debut
After his contract with Helsingborgs IF has expired, Wilhelm expressed his interest in moving to South Korean club Incheon United FC, and saw FK Csíkszereda as second-choice club. He had visited the Korean club but during this time, was unexpectedly registered and presented by the Romanian side.
Despite the initial difficulties, Wilhelm made his debut for FK Csíkszereda in a Romanian Liga I game against UTA Arad — came off the bench at the break, and could celebrate a 2-0 win at the end. Four days later he was in the starting eleven in a Cupa României (Romanian Cup) clash against third tier club CS Sporting Liești: scored two goals which helped his team to achieve a 0-5 away win.

Playing in Romania’s highest tier is a perfect match for Loeper, besides, his current club FK Csíkszereda needed a fast offensive winger / wide midfielder to strengthen its squad for the upcoming matches of prime importance.
As he will turn 28 soon, the question is given: will we see him at a higher level or not? Based on his qualities, he still can be interesting for teams of different strengths — which is the same as the Romanian Liga I level, or even higher.
